OUS Entering Freshman Profile for Oregon High Schools
The Entering Freshman Profile is sent to all Oregon high schools to provide information about student performance at Oregon University System (OUS) institutions. The profile includes students who graduated from an Oregon public high school and attended an OUS institution as first-time freshmen (FTF) during the subsequent academic year. In addition to traditional data, student performance on high school benchmark state assessments is compared with subsequent performance in the first year of college.
What's New:(February 15, 2008)
Changes are coming to the data and look & feel of the web pages. An agreement with ODE will allow us to add the test scores for the missing years as well.
The profile has 2 parts:
-
"How to read the Entering Freshman Profile" (PDF): Describes each of the 4 data sections and offers suggestions for interpreting results.
-
Section 1: Enrollment of new freshmen; persistence to the second fall
-
Section 2: Academic preparation and first-year college performance
-
Section 3: State assessments: percentage who exceeded, met and did not meet at 10th grade benchmark
-
Section 4: First-year college performance grouped by performance on state assessments
